LEGISLATIVE ISSUES

BOMA Florida serves as a key point of contact between its members and the legislative community in Tallahassee. Making sure that BOMA Florida members have a strong voice concerning the issues that affect the commercial real estate community is among the key components of BOMA Florida's mission.

End of Session Report
There were over 2,500 bills with 1,553 bills in the Florida Senate and 996 Bills in the House. One hot issue BOMA Florida had been working with was HB 817, which was tabled and referred to SB 142 which passed unanimously! This is not good news for us.
