BOMA Florida Honors Lee Moffitt with the Inaugural Lee Moffitt Legacy Award

BOMA Florida is proud to present the Lee Moffitt Legacy Award to Lee Moffitt in recognition of his extraordinary 25+ years of dedication and service to our association and the State of Florida.

Lee has had a profound impact on the Tampa Bay region and across Florida through his unwavering commitment to community leadership and public service. A respected attorney and former Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Lee has spent decades championing initiatives that have improved the lives of Floridians and strengthened the business community.

Since joining BOMA Florida in the 1990s as our lobbyist and spokesperson in Tallahassee, Lee’s partnership has been instrumental in achieving numerous legislative victories — including the landmark reduction of the sales tax on commercial rent, among many others that have shaped the future of Florida’s commercial real estate industry.

Lee’s energy, wisdom, and devotion to BOMA Florida have left an indelible mark. While his leadership will be greatly missed, his legacy will continue to guide our association for years to come through the legislation he helped champion and the standards he set.
